Visions & Vignettes is an exhibition by Career Development Program Fellows at the Center for Emerging Visual Artists featuring site specific installations, sculptures, prints, photographs, drawings, and paintings, which reference unique perspectives, created environments, and suggested narratives.  The artists will share their insights on the work in Artist Talks preceding the opening reception.

The Center for Emerging Visual Artists (CFEVA), located in Philadelphia, dedicates itself to making art careers viable for those who choose them, helping emerging artists reach their audiences, and promoting interest and understanding of emerging visual art among citizens of the community.

Artists are selected for CFEVA’s two-year Career Development Fellowship by CFEVA’s renowned Board of Artistic Advisors.  While active in the program, the artists have opportunities to experience a full exhibition schedule, receive career counseling and mentorship, earn money from the sale of their work, teach in the community, and participate in numerous professional development opportunities.  The Career Development Program serves artists living within a 100-mile radius of Philadelphia and the annual application deadline is November 1st.
